VARIOUS USUAGE AREAS FOR CARBON DIOXIDE LASERS
CO2 (carbon dioxide) lasers are used to tackle skin changes and to remove moles, warts and small cysts and also to smooth skin and scars. A CO2 laser can also be used to smooth out wrinkles, fine lines and pigment changes. Actinic keratosis is a preliminary stage of squamous cell cancer that needs to be treated.
Carbon dioxide lasers are also appropriate for the treatment of some skin diseases:
- cholesterol spots or xanthelasma

- partial removal of ingrowing nails
