Contents of a day of care in an inpatient ward
The ward service includes
- hospital bed
- hospital meals
- care by ward staff
The daily treatment price does not include
- laboratory or X-ray examinations
- physical therapy
- other possible examinations
- medical services
Billing:
Care days are billed from noon to noon.
The day of admission is counted as one day, except if the patient is discharged before 15:00. In that case patient is charged by the hour (see hourly rate). If the patient is discharged on the day of departure between 12:00 and 18:00, the additional hours will be billed based on the hourly rate.
Cancelling:
For a reserved but unused hospital bed we charge a cancellation fee.
In case it is cancelled after 15.00 the day before planned arrival, the price for the whole day will be charged.
If cancellation is done at least three days in advance, we charge half of the daily fee.
A clinic fee of 29,70 € will be added to the price of the appointment. The Kanta fee is 3,30 € and is charged for all visits where information is saved to the My Kanta Pages.
