

Acupuncture
Acupuncture and herbal medicine are the central forms of treatment in Chinese medicine. According to the WHO’s classification, acupuncture can be used to treat, for example, problems in the airways, diseases of the eye and mouth, problems with the digestive organs, neurological problems, musculoskeletal problems, nerve pain, bladder problems, joint inflammation and rheumatism. Gynaecological problems and problems with the prostate and impotence also respond well to acupuncture.
Examples of conditions and diseases that can be treated using acupuncture:
- sinusitis, pharyngitis, colds and bronchitis
- asthma and allergies
- conjunctivitis and retinitis
- toothache, e.g. following a tooth extraction, gingivitis
- the abdomen, e.g. catarrh, hyperacidity, non-acute stomach ulcers, colitis, constipation, diarrhoea, ileus
- headache, migraine
- vertigo
- pain in the trigeminal nerve
- Ménière’s disease
- bed-wetting
- frozen shoulder
- tennis elbow
- ischial pain
- back pain
- pain caused by osteoarthritis
- insomnia
- panic and anxiety
- menopause problems
How many treatments there will be is determined on an individual basis, but 1–2 times per week for a total of 8–10 times is usually sufficient. In the event of acute complaints, the problem can be alleviated by only a few treatments. The effects of acupuncture last from hours to years.

A clinic fee of 29,70 € will be added to the price of the appointment. For series of appointments, a clinic fee of 7,70 € per visit will be charged. The Kanta fee is 3,30 € and is charged for all visits recorded in the My Kanta Pages.
