X-ray

X-rays are taken so that the doctor is better equipped to make a diagnosis and exclude diseases. A referral from the doctor treating you is always required for an X-ray. The radiologist provides their opinion and the doctor treating you can use this as a basis for deciding on future treatment.

Making an appointment

The most common X-rays such as chest X-rays and X-rays of the bones can be performed without an appointment. Other examinations always require an appointment.
