Korvenpää Satu

I am a registered nurse working on an inpatient ward as well as a preoperative nurse at Eira Orthopedic Clinic. I graduated as a nurse from Häme University of Applied Sciences in 2017.

I work on Eira’s inpatient ward in a wide range of nursing roles. On the ward, we care for surgical patients from various specialties, which has given me extensive experience in caring for surgical patients.

In addition, I am responsible for preoperative guidance appointments for patients undergoing joint replacement surgery. During these appointments, I review the patient’s medical background, provide information about practical aspects of the surgery, and guide them in preparation and recovery.

My goal is for patients to feel safe and well prepared before surgery and to receive clear instructions for a smooth recovery.
