Certificate of Medical Fitness to Dive

Diving requires the body to tolerate variations in pressure. A medical certificate that guarantees the diver’s safety is required for a diving certificate. A certificate of medical fitness is required for both sport divers and professional divers.

Obtaining a certificate of medical fitness to dive

At Eira Hospital a certificate of medical fitness to dive can be issued by general practitioners and by doctors who are familiar with diving medicine or have specialised in this subject. Both sport divers and professional divers need to renew their medical certificates within the appointed time.

Visa certificates

A clinic fee of 32,50 € will be added to the price of the appointment. The Kanta fee is 3,50 € and is charged for all visits where information is saved to the My Kanta Pages.
