Seafarers Certificates

You can have your seafarer’s certificate renewed at Eira Hospital. Seafarer’s certificates are issued by a maritime health doctor.

Obtaining a seafarer’s certificate

A seafarer’s certificate includes a health assessment in which the doctor, among other things, measures your blood pressure, listens to your lungs and heart and tests you vision and hearing.

NB! You need to book two consecutive consultations for a seafarer’s certificate. No Norwegian seafarers medical certificates.

Visa certificates

A clinic fee of 29,70 € will be added to the price of the appointment. The Kanta fee is 3,30 € and is charged for all visits where information is saved to the My Kanta Pages.
