I am a specialist in hand surgery. My expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of acute injuries of the hand and forearm—such as fractures, ligament, muscle, tendon, nerve, and vascular injuries. I also specialize in treating chronic and overuse-related conditions and pain in the upper extremity. These include, for example, tenosynovitis, nerve entrapments, ganglia and tumors, contractures (such as Dupuytren’s contracture), and osteoarthritis.

In my primary role at the Hand Surgery Clinic at HUS (Helsinki University Hospital), I am also actively involved in scientific research and teaching, with the aim of improving the care of hand-related conditions and injuries.
