Syrjänen Jari

I graduated as a medical doctor and qualified as a specialist in Orthopaedics and Traumatology in 2002 from the University of Helsinki. I hold the subspecialty qualification of an expert in joint replacement surgery.

I worked as a joint replacement orthopaedic surgeon at Orton Hospital (formerly the Invalid Foundation Hospital) from 2003 until 2026. When the hospital discontinued its private surgical operations, I was very pleased to move to Eira Hospital to continue my career.

I treat adult patients with hip or knee osteoarthritis and perform hip and knee replacement surgeries. In treatment, the most important aspects are quality, individuality, and time. That is why I chose Eira.
