I have worked as a specialist in neurology since 2002 at HUS as well as in the private sector, where I have worked full-time since 2013. I have conducted clinical trials in migraine, cluster headache, and Alzheimer’s disease since 2010, and through this work I have gained extensive experience with new pharmacological treatments for migraine and Alzheimer’s disease. I also assess the patient's suitability for next-generation biologic drugs (Leqembi and Kisunla) in the treatment of early Alzheimer's disease. I maintain my professional competence by regularly attending international congresses and training courses to learn about the latest developments.

My special expertise lies in the diagnosis and treatment of headaches, especially migraine and cluster headache. My treatment options also include botulinum toxin therapy and nerve blocks. I also treat bruxism, trigeminal neuralgia, and hyperhidrosis with botulinum toxin. In botulinum toxin treatment of dystonia and post-stroke spasticity, I use EMG guidance.
I consider it important to listen to the patient and to take a comprehensive approach to their overall life situation. Receiving the correct diagnosis is a relief for many patients, and a clear treatment plan developed together creates hope and provides reassurance.

All patients over the age of 13 are welcome to my practice. Patients with ADHD and individuals suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome are kindly asked to book an appointment with another specialist.
