I’m a Finnish-Norwegian physiotherapist and came to Helsinki to study in 2008. I liked the city, and luckily got to start working at Eira Hospital right after my studies. My job includes various kinds of rehabilitation. I have been working, in particular, with general rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation and rehabilitation of the elderly. I am also in charge of the orthopedic pre- and postsurgical rehabilitation in order to make sure that you will get back to your everyday life quickly and safely. I treat musculoskeletal disorders of the young and elderly at the outpatient clinic. I value teamwork between the patient and I in order to achieve the goals that we have set together. As a physiotherapist I am calm, emphatic and a good listener. When it comes to rehabilitation of the elderly, I mix individual therapy and training as well as group training so that the functioning level and the quality of life will remain as high as possible in the future. I also have work experience from abroad; I had a private outpatient clinic in Norway for six months.
